Terms of Service

The service

RoleForth is a web application that helps you organise your job search — including relationships, applications, tasks, CVs, and optional email and AI-assisted features. Features may change as we improve the product.

The core CRM-style features are offered free of charge within published limits. Optional paid RoleForth Tokens unlock or power certain AI and capacity features as described on the Pricing page.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 16).
• One person should use one account unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may delete your account from Account settings. Deletion removes your live account data subject to backups and legal requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use RoleForth for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or probe the service
• Access another user’s account or data without permission
• Abuse AI features, scraping, or automated access in ways that harm the service or other users
• Misrepresent your identity to us or to third parties through the product in a fraudulent way

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you enter (profiles, notes, CVs, emails you compose, and similar). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate RoleForth for you, including sending it to AI or email providers when you use those features.

You are responsible for having the rights to upload CVs and other materials, and for how you use outreach messages generated or sent with RoleForth.

Email features

Connecting a mailbox is optional. When connected, RoleForth can import messages into a review queue and send mail you choose to send from the product using your credentials. You remain responsible for complying with applicable email and marketing laws and with your email provider’s terms.

AI features and tokens

• AI outputs can be wrong or incomplete — always review before sending or relying on them.
• Token costs are shown in the product; failed AI calls are not charged.
• Tokens expire according to the published rules and are generally non-refundable except where law requires otherwise.
• Purchases are processed by our payment provider (Stripe when configured).

Third-party services

RoleForth may integrate with third parties such as Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Stripe, and Google Places. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our control.

Availability and changes

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation — especially on early or hosted environments. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.

Disclaimers

RoleForth is a productivity tool for your job search. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of RoleForth. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for tokens in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring mandatory consumer claims in your local courts where the law requires.
